Definition: This application demonstrates Lytrod Software Designer’s use of OMR creation and pre-slugging. To provide personalization to the school and ensure accurate student representation the school provides each student a form that is pre-slugged with their first name, last name and student identification number.

Business Problem: With a decreased budget and an increased need for standardized testing in education, schools are now looking for a more economical solution than the costly pre-print stock for their OMR “bubble” forms. These pre-print forms they are currently using are lacking personalization. The teachers, instead of testing based off their own curriculums, have to adjust their curriculum to fit the format of the existing stock.

Business Process: Lytrod Software allows the OMR forms to be created on-site and personalized by adding the student’s names and identification numbers from existing student data through its Designer programs. The student information prints directly onto each form to avoid cheating. By creating and printing the personalized forms on-site, the teachers are able to have access and ability to customize the testing forms they need. Lytrod Software Designers minimize waste by taking away need of pre-print forms from outside suppliers and lowering costs.
