3.5 of the Designer Series - Proform Designer for production printing
and DeskTop Designer for entry-production printing. The Designer tools
enable PC users to easily and rapidly develop sophisticated applications
for Xerox's VIPP™ technology, the most efficient and effective workflow
for personalized document production. Until recently, skilled programmers
were required to In
close collaboration with Xerox engineers, marketing managers and mutual
customers worldwide, Lytrod Software added over eighty new features to
the Designer Series. Version 3.5 dramatically expands capabilities for
workflow automation and legacy application migration, and addresses the
needs of the graphic arts
Lytrod Software Designer 3.5 supports VIPP applications on the entire range of Xerox production printers -DocuPrint, DocuTech, DocuColor, including iGen3 - and all digital front ends for the DocuColor machines (DocuSP, Creo and EFI). In addition, Designer supports the mass production of personalized Adobe PDF documents on Xerox's VIPP Thin Printer product. A new feature in Designer enables users to easily automate email distribution of these personalized PDF documents. Version 3.5 begins shipping immediately. Customers on annual maintenance will receive upgrade CDs beginning January 4th, 2004. -
