Lytrod in Latin America
MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - July 1, 2003. Lytrod Software, Inc. announced its participation in the first Xerox Analyst Technical Conference, hosted by the Xerox Latin Group Sales College. Purpose of the five-day event is to provide up-to-date direction, information and tools to prepare the analyst community for pre-sale support to over-achieve Second Half objectives. Karen Lytle, Lytrod Software's VP marketing, and Jaime Lopez, Xerox's VIPP solutions marketing manager, presented marketing and positioning information on the VIPP/Lytrod solution, and the VIPP Made Easy marketing program, to a group of over forty experienced analysts. The program is aimed at retaining customers, placing new Xerox production printers and growing Xerox page volume.
During the following week, Cynthia Osborn and Julian Ortega, from Lytrod Software's technical marketing staff, delivered three days of intensive training on Proform and DeskTop Designer software to Xerox trainers and lead analysts. The Designer products enable anyone to develop sophisticated VIPP variable-data applications on their PC, without programming. David Kirk, Xerox's VIPP technical program manager and Jaime Lopez presented a fourth day of content on the VIPP Thin Printer product and Xerox's Freeflow production workflow strategy.
Lytrod Software is committed to serving Latin American markets. Julian Ortega has been leading the Company's market development efforts in the region since March 2003 with the intent of negotiating reseller agreements between Lytrod Software and Xerox Latin Group affiliates. Karen Lytle and Jaime Lopez delivered VIPP Made Easy symposiums in Chile and Argentina in May and another is planned for Brazil in the fall.
