USB or Parallel Port

The software runs in conjuction with a Protection Key (Dongle). This device must be attached to a parallel or USB port on any system that is running the software. The software comes standard with a USB dongle. A parallel dongle may be purchased from Lytrod Software at an additional cost.

Internet Access

Software updates are available to any users with a current Support contract. These updates are available via the internet and, therefore, require internet access. Changes to Firewall settings may also be required to allow Proform Designer to access our Update Service.
