The following are required to host training at your site:
- Conference room large enough for all attendees and instructor to work comfortably
- Screen or blank wall suitable as a projection screen
- A training workstation PC for each student attendee with:
- Administrative rights to install software and for software to update registry information periodically
- Password to reboot the system
- Internet access to download software updates (note firewall settings)
- Minimum hardware requirements:
- Pentium IV 2.8 GHz/AMD Athlon 2800 MHz or faster processor
- 256 MB RAM
- 1 GB hard disk space
- CD-ROM drive
- Two-button mouse
- Parallel Port and/or USB Port (for dongle installation)
- Monitor (suggested 17” or larger) with 1024 x 768 or higher resolution (to see all software toolbars)
- Additional software for PDF proofing option:
- Adobe Acrobat with Distiller installed on system or installation CD
- FreeFlow VI Interpreter (VIPP) installed on system, or system installation CD on hand
Requirements to complete optional printing lab:
- Network access from the training workstations to a VIPP enabled printer, with both FTP and LPR or a mapped network drive
- IP address, printer password (if needed), and VIPP queue name (or have the printer operator with this information available for the training)
- Hotfolder VIPP Container (VPC) queue set up (for FreeFlow Print Server only)
A purchase order or full payment is required to schedule training. Training must be paid in full at least 21 days prior to the scheduled start date and must be scheduled within 6 months of the purchase date. There are no refunds for training fees after 6 months of purchase. Cancellation of a scheduled training will incur additional fees and penalties from 50% of the training cost up to the full cost of the training.
