The VRCut Controller hardware kit contains all you need to use your VRCut Ready Triumph cutter to its full VRCut capabilities! Qualified* VRCut Ready Triumph customers may request a kit shipped to their location at no cost, including shipping.
*VRCut Controller Hardware Kit available at no cost, (including shipping in the United States) upon request for VRCut Ready Triumph cutters purchased after April 1, 2023. To request your kit, login to your account, register your VRCut license and select “Request VRCut Controller Hardware Kit”. Kits are available for purchase for any customer who purchased an MBM Triumph 5260, 5560, 6660, 7260 after January 1st, 2018. See your MBM dealer or order in the Lytrod Store for $699.00.
VRCut Controller Hardware Kit comes as is and is not replaceable. Limit one kit per qualified Triumph Cutter. The tablet comes installed with the VRCut Controller software assigned to the specified Triumph machine serial number. The tablet is configured to support the VRCut Controller software only; Windows PC admin rights are not granted to the vrcut user profile. To benefit from the complete VRCut software workflow, customers are encouraged to install VRCut Impose software on their pre-press/design PC.

TWO MODULES,
ONE INTEGRATED WORKFLOW
The VRCut solution consists of two independent modules that work together. The Impose module creates PDF documents formatted specifically to work with the VRCUT Controller module. The Controller module connects directly to the Triumph Cutter moving the back gauge and visually guiding operators through the cutting sequence.

HOW IT WORKS:
The operator selects the current job from a drop-down list or scans the document barcode that has been placed on the PDF by VRCut Impose. The cut sequence instructions display on the right side of the screen with the current step highlighted. Visual cues found on the top left side of the screen assist the operator in error free cutting. A graphic representation of the job is shown in the center of the screen, displaying the current paper orientation in relation to the guillotine’s back gauge and LED cut line. Once the operator performs a cut the software automatically advances to the next step and moves the guillotine back gauge. The software then visually and/or audibly prompts the operator to discard the scrap paper, to rotate the job for the next cut, and/or to place portions on the workbench or palette. Operators have the option to retrace the cutting steps at any time. VRCut will keep the guillotine back gauge in sync with the operator cutting instructions.
